Did you mix the dye yourself? About a year or 2 ago I was looking for olive dye and couldn’t find it. I went half a size up because 9s are the only Jordan I’ve needed to size up in, hopefully there’s no heel slip
I was the only person waiting out in front of JD Sports this morning and easily got my size 10. These definitely looked more Khaki than Olive so i dyed my pair a Olive shade and now they looked more like the original 1994 pair

Jordan changed up the first set of lace loops from the speed lacing system to regular holes in the first retro because the plastic speed lace loops tore into to the tops of people's feet when you were playing in the OG's. Specifically the knuckle area of the big toe. It was a "protro" type of change for comfort.

I did, i actually had Green Suede Dye laying around but i diluted it. This is a major step because if you use the dye straight out of the bottle, it’ll turn the suede a Forest Green instead of Olive. You want the brown and green to mix, resulting in Olive

Angelus because it provides good coverage, it has to be diluted enough though to not make the suede look too green

Absolutely correct. I was mad at these and the “powder 9s” back in 2010 but I know what it’s all we had and I got em both. I trust the next retro won’t be perfect but better than these

My problem with the Charcoal retro was the mudguard it wasn't really charcoal like the og. Besides the red accents, the og Charcoals could almost pass for a completely black sneaker.
