Orange Is The New Black // Netflix Original Series from the creator of Weeds

Young Lilly was a diff actress.

I know because I was like "is that the same actress", so I stopped paused, FF'ed , Rewound, IMDB'd until I found out it was a diff girl.

She portrayed the young Lilly to a damn tee.

Still have a few episdoes left, been skimming the thread, nice to see cats cool enough to use spoilers

How are some of these girls in minimum security prison with the crimes they committed?? Crazy eyes for example. That **** would get you a death sentance in other states.

It has to boil down to politics and the highest or maybe lowest bidder really.

That and a good lawyer.

Keep in mind when dealing with Prison its just corporate.

You have some correctional systems that are traded publicly, so, what does that tell you.

If Prison A will take prisoner X for 25ooo per year while the others charge 35ooo per year, welp...be inclined to think they are commodities of some sort.

Just logical conspiracy

Just read an expose on Prison ****

There was a snippet of information in the show.

Remember when Piscatello was interrogating Red?

He questioned why she was at a minimum security prison because they found four (?) bodies (in pieces) in her business.

There were other murderers too (Frieda).

i hope the actress who plays Lolly wins some type of award for this season. outstanding acting.

She was great last season as well. I don't know if it was the same actor but whoever played young Lilly did excellent also

Wow it wasn't the same actress?

I was sure it was

IIRC, these chicks are doing all fed time. Sentencing rules are different and crazy eyes is not that bright.

well she also looked a whole lot younger than older Lolly. But yeah she did such a good job that she makes you think its the same. She had the voice and mannerism down to a T

Red is locked up for her and her husband's debt basically ... they old the Russian mob and Red also popped one of the Boss' wife's implants. So they put the bodies in their freezer.

There were other murderers in there too but at the same time just gotta realize its a tv show in the end. Based off them reading some of the files like P's she was busted with minimal marijuanna and got a bunch of time there.

What I was saying is that if Crazy Eyes really did what she did (not physically, but involved) when they came to arrest her and going through trial sentencing, theres no way she gets convicted and just sent to prison. She would have immediately been sent to a psych hospital

No idea what movie that is from but man Jake got her hopes up :lol

Season 4 >>>>>>>x1000 Season 3

Really good job this season. Lolly was a great character. Felt bad for her. At first just said ok shes just a nut and paranoid but im glad they showed more of her backstory and it got my sympathy card.

Everything was talking about Judy King respresenting Marth Stewart, only thing MS to me was her being sent to prison. Everything else seemed like Paula Deen to me. From cooking, race incident, and country accent.

The only thing that would have made the ending better was Daya not even hesitating. Just picking up the gun and pulling the trigger. And they can make the cliffhanger be that they dont even show who she shot but you hear the gun shot and then see everyones faces with a shocked surprised scared look.

Maria was kinda annoying, she just go from nobody to running the whole hispanic crew with no type of record backing her "hardas" persona

I feel bad for Bayley. I mean yeah he did that but he honestly had no idea and was taking order from Piscatella. Should have use a knee in the back on a 90lb chick nah but man you could tell he gon be shook for life. I do wish he would have stepped in to keep Crazy Eyes and Kukudio from fighting. You can tell Bayley, the woman guard, and Pensatucky's dude are the only ones with a conscious. Crazy how Bayley had brief incounters with 2 inmates.

I coulda swore one of the chicks in the club P went to woth the drag queens, the woman was Caputo's gf Linda taking the necklace or somethin on her neck

I was mad af seeing Justin Bieber as in Max with Nichols. Why they even bring her back? Nichols was annoying af too relapsing and that eye twitching thing she does when she talk, hell just how she talked in general.

Was really happy the whole season seeing Chapman and Vase not involved themn low n behold :{

I was really ready to see all of them come together and take out Piscatella. I think that would have been a great finale too. The new leader of the white group is so confused :lol she had a real change of heart but dont want to lose her WP buddies.

Caputo .. man I was diggin him all season til the end. Still shows he has no back bone. I would have told Piscatella and his crew to get to steppin. Then after talkin to Taystee (who he trusts damn near more than anyone in Litchfield) he knew what happened and still didnt speak on it.

The MCC chick Linda can get it though. Not relationship cuz she seem annoying as hell but Caputo shouldve played it right n just knocked it out whenever he wanted. Old Warden Natalie think she slick leavin a bite mark, Caputo slippin right there too

Did Healey check himself in a nut house or was he visiting. It left the impression he checked himself in with that maroon sweatshirt

Someones comment on IGN about the end ..

The apex of the last episode for me was the so-called Poussey back-story that was not one. Its last scene was not a flashback but rather her passage into the after life after her murder based on motifs of the Wizard of Oz (the film the Wiz was discussed by Poussey and her friends previously then screened in the prison and interrupted). Lost in NYC, she meets two drag queens who resemble the Lion and the Tinman (note the red coloring of one and the metallic face of the other) who take her to a club (OZ) where she meets a third drag queen and where the Wizard appears in the form of a DJ orchestrating a performance piece with a light show and music. Later in Brooklyn, after journeying underground by subway , and trying to get "home "to her friends from whom she was separated, Poussey encounters a troupe of seemingly Buddhist monks in yellow saffron robes,( yellow brick road plus munchkin motifs here) riding bicycles with decorative lights who take her to edge of the the East River, which is actually the river Styx (mentioned earlier in the episode by Boo when confronted with her abandoned corpse). The episode ends with Poussey at the edge of the river, turning her face back at the audience but also looking back her past, her expression full of hope, expectation and wonder. She never finds her friends nor travels to Amsterdam. Its a very very moving scene. The message is clear and radical she is no longer imprisoned, but only in death, while her corpse lays for hours on the cafeteria floor like Michael Brown at Ferguson. Black Lives matter and the OITNB is the new Wire exposing America to its traumatized core.

Yeah idk where that thought came from. I havent seen the wire but a few episodes from way back when i was maybe in HS but i saw enough to know these 2 dont even compare

Agree with that spoiler for the most part. Once I saw the monks on bikes, it was blatantly obvious.

Man....Season 4 is just as good or better than the first

I wish Healy had walked in that lake and counted the grains of sand at the bottom, he just became such a bum. He redeemed himself with "helping" Lolly. Also understood him and hated him a lil less seeing how his moms was crazy and seein' what his dad "taught" him about lesbians smh
Def enjoyed Lolly's story more than anybody else. It helped me understand mental health issues. Almost made a thug cry

As soon as I seen ol boy just chillin' on P back I knew it was over for her. Would have never expected her to die.

Them two meth heads gotta be the most annoying people ever to disgrace a television screen

Ol Beer Can still a sac less boss, shoulda told ol boys to hit them bricks, and gave em an hour to collect they stuff

I hate Diya gon end up caught up in this riot crap and now prob never see her kid cause her mom immature and unreliable. Next season better be perfect because it's got quite an act to follow

yeah i was really wanting Healy to keep on going :lol he thought his mail order wife really cared about him when he heard the phone ring. To me it seemed like he gets to attached. Like the flash back when he went to the movies with one of his patients/clients or w/e she was. Glad they gave his backstory though butyeah he could have kept on walking.

I agree 100% on the meth heads, its like they had no real roles for them but didnt want them to just fade off.

i was rollin at Maritza's backstory. She should kept her *** in the club breakin vodka bottles of water .. she really faked puking and then hopped in the car dipped out. Why not just hop out then call it a day try again on someone else?

Man soon as Luscheck fell victim to Judy King and the Molly I knew somethin was up. Then soon as they showed all 3 of the sitting on a bed, i knew it was bout to happen. Yoga Jones not very flexible :x :rollin

When Abdullah pulled her head wrap off :lol

Im glad Jenae didnt have many talking parts when she gets mad n wanna be tough its way too forced

As for as after P died, i would have figured most of them wouldhave been upset but its like everyone went back to normal like nothing happened besides the half-hearted effort of grieving the black women had

Just finished episode 12.
That ending damn near had me in tears man :{

Don't know how those guys don't get fired, after it gets out that a guard had a gun

Caputo let the snatch get the best of him, would be hard for Bayly to come bak and would be a waste of time

Lolly was on Gotham too dont remember the episode
