and yeah this dude is a piece of work. Sort of feel bad for him though...that persistent feeling of "damb, if I could just put it all together" is in us all at a time.
 
He's been through a lot of struggle, and dealt with most of it badly. He's also the best rebounder the game has ever seen. Usually in Outside the Lines there's some point where reality and sports myth meet to create some kind of greater point. I don't think it ever reaches that point with this Dennis Rodman OtL, which is pretty sad. No matter what you throw at this dude, he makes poor choices in the end.

I used to hate Phil Jackson until I saw how he brought the best out of a guy like Rodman. He made me think all that mind game stuff might have actually mattered in the end. Seeing stuff like this makes me wish sports sometimes extended beyond just the sport itself, because Rodman seriously needs a Phil Jackson type dude in his life right now.
