i noticed something crazy today. peep this. In my sleep comes right before exxxes on the tracklist. in in my sleep joe says..
"ye i thought about smashin dat
*!@ was phat,so appealing
tattoo on her thigh sayin
she doin better then she was feelin
i think i seen shawty before maybe in a club or somethin
maybe in vip, but wasnt nobody there but me
and the club was all red, then she started playin wit my head
then i came, then i asked shawty wats her name
it was wierd cause she %*%*%+ around and disapeared"

then on exxes it starts off with him sayin
"you look familiar, i swear i seen u somewhere before, u sure?
are you sure we never met
nah im not usin that for a cheap pikup line, i really think u look familiar"

its the same girl from in my sleep. since the girl in exxes is all in his head, so is the girl from in my sleep where its all in his head.

i think thats brilliant, i aint reachin. exxes comes on right after in my sleep

Yeah, but the girl in Exxxes is a metaphor for his depression. It comes and goes, it's always eFFin him. Album is way too complex, could sendme to a padded room soon

I ran thru it yesterday night while working out, and it sounded great then, but some of them joints sounded like something I dont know if I would listen to inany other space. I'll prolly run thru it again today...

The 3 songs that caught my ear was the Intro, Dont Make Me, and Pray For Me (needs to shoot a video for that, asap).

Good album, but im still gettin into it. Not a song that i flat out dont like, pretty much like all of them.
I want another beat for that rock and roll joint adrenaline. the 2nd dude was nice imo. and joey 2nd verse was nice. too bad he goin against his word when hesay he hates when rappers spit stuff on a radio then puts it on an album.

album is very solid. i only disliked three tracks (9,10,14). if these 3 tracks were canned and a couple of songs were taken from halfway house, this albumwould of been flawless, like others previously said. nevertheless joey came correct on his second album. gonna go to best buy, haven't bought a album sincestillmatic! sad i know. internet corrupted me early.
