PC heads, HELP! My laptop keeps going to Startup Repair whenever i turn it on.

I'm on a Dell Inspiron E1505 32bit(yes, it's ancient..

). Every time i turn it on, it always goes to the startup repair, even when i restart, it still goes back. I do have the OS disk, but that's my last resort because i have all my files in my computer and want to back up before i reboot. I tried to system restore, but there seems like i have no restore points...So please help me out, thanks in advance!

I did the first two, but I'm still havin the same problem...Anything else I can do? Thanks for the help guys.
EDIT;

I gave up trying to fix it, so i just did a fresh install.
