Thinking about buying a pair but wondering what's the most I should pay?

I waaay overpaid for my pair.. paid $290 after shipping. I think they should only be like $200~ brand new

Im wondering how much wear i can get out of them? you think thats a problem or no if they've been sitting waiting to be sold?
