My thing with John Ross is that I'd rather trade our 2nd (and whatever else) for Cooks who's basically the proven NFL version of what Ross could become.

And we'd still have our 1st for Corey Davis

you give Carson weapons and I have no doubt he cooks, Carson is the real deal, I have seen enough to know that

I gotta rep juju for the hometown, plus he went to my alma mater (same as djack). Ross is another Long Beach kid, would be dope to see them succeed in philly. Godwin looked good today, ppl are saying 2nd round for him now

That 1st is pick 32. Basically all 2nd

Cooks is up for an extension soon and is going to be huge. Not sure I'm willing to pay him that

I am. Wouldn't be until after next year. We would need the Saints to pick up his 5th year option before a trade. Gives Howie an extra year to get rid of some of the deadweight

What's crazy to me is that Brandin Cooks is 23. Mike Williams and Corey Davis are both 22.

There's plenty more mock drafts out there, these are just the ones I've seen since yesterday's combine. I like John Ross' speed, but his injury history bothers me, and I want the Eagles to pick a WR who is more than just a speedster.

John Ross is more than just a speedster, crazy good footwork too. A lot of his highlights you'll see him slowing down for the ball bc of the QB.

But yea, Ross has already had quite a bit of injuries and is gonna have shoulder surgery this month too
