So glad we didn't get Britt. Howie sticking to the plan. Build through draft, don't invest heavily in FA

Mann this was a GREAT day for us. Alshon on a one year deal is awesome. He will be motivated to stay healthy and have a BIG season and we will have the inside track on resigning him if so. Torrey as a second option for a cheap deal like that is nice too. I wouldn't mind still going WR in the first but I'd actually rather not at this point.
With what we have now, I think I'm really leaning towards wanting Dalvin Cook in the first round and then go CB in 2nd and 3rd round. We need to give Wentz every possible opportunity to succeed. With Cook our offense could essentially be set with young studs and will give us a legit running game and another dynamic target for Wentz out of the backfield. If not Cook i'd like to go CB in round one and then Mixon in round 2 who I think is just as good as Cook.
Wentz, Cook, Jefferey, Ertz, Smith, Matthews is a nice and most importantly YOUNG core that will grow with Wentz.

Warmack back with stoutland.. alshon back with groh.. and smith was decent when things were competent and really he just has to be better than DGB and treggs
If we draft 2 WRs, they can sit and learn.. we can move Matthews before he's a free agent.. and zero need for DGB or treggs
Also warmack allows us to move Kelce and barbre if things come up

You still take a wr in the 1st if he's the guy up next on their board. Just cuz we got alshon on a 1 year deal doesn't take away from howie's biggest selling point this offseason, to build through the draft. So glad we ain't end up with Britt

Exactly.. even if we do move Matthews
We can still go with alshon and smith on the outside.. then agholor or Turner in the slot

as of now I think we have an absurd level of cap space next offseason
