the comment should be more directed at Undlin and Schwartz. Maybe if you didn’t have em playing off all the time, they’d have more confidence. Hell even Maddox plays scared sometimes too

Miles Sanders hasn’t been great out the gate like a guy like Josh Jacobs but he’s 100% been improving on a weekly basis.

i don’t know if he’ll become an elite RB in this league but he’s definitely becoming pretty well rounded.

sul is good, he’s just so damn slow. I still believe Sid can be good, his confidence is just shot. And we’re in win now mode so I’m pretty much done experimenting with him. were giving him the time that every 2nd round pick deserves

I also thing JJAW will be fine too, he’s just not getting reps. People are panicking because they see rookies like Chark and Metcalf cooking right now. Give him some time, it’s only been 6 games

It can't get worst than this. He was great in 2017 and trash last year. At least he has some sort of track record of playing at a high level.

I just don't think the big splash we're waiting on at CB is coming. I think we'll grab someone but it won't be an elite guy like Ramsey.

I think the big splash is going to be on the DL. I can definitely see us going for Leonard Williams

Sid confidence being where it is now is due to a product of the environment

year 1: Achilles rehab
Year 2: never had a chance to compete for outside job, was forced inside. Played well before the hammy. Rushed back and wasnt the same
Year 3: given opportunity outside due to Mills being out, being rotated every series with Sul even when he was playing well

not sure what the team is expecting from that lol

And the biggest issue that no one has brought up yet, why has every single corner look great in the slot but ****** outside

PRob - ****** outside, great in slot
Maddox - bad outside, great in slot
Strap - great in slot, probably bad outside
Sid - ****** outside, great in slot

and when you consider guys we cut
Chandon Sullivan - terrible outside, had a role with GB
Bausby - even more terrible outside, was once considered the slot in 2018 TC, had a role with Denver before his injury

These “communication issues” happen way too frequently with this team and it always results in TD’s. At some point we just gotta admit the talent and IQ just might not be there. There’s not a cornerback on this roster that does their job well on the outside. And it has been the case for as long as I can remember.

Same thing with these receivers which is aggravating with Nelson because we’ve seen him put together a good season before . Everyone else at wideout is just slow and cancel each other out. Alshon is reliable but isn’t a speed threat, Goedert and Ertz are one in the same, J.J. and Hollins might as well be ghosts out there, they provide nothing

Talent and IQ is there imo. Scheme and gameplan is not catered towards their ability. You basically have your corners playing inverted cover 2 and acting as safeties when we know they don’t have the speed for it

sul is slow and zone corner, yet have him playing bump and run man
Sid is a man corner, have him playing off and in zone
Mills is a S, playing bump and run man

also it’s very ironic Jenkins blows a coverage on a deep post the same exact way he did last year vs the Bucs. It’s the same mistakes the same way
