Was a low risk rental for the rest of the season. Could have taken him out for a test drive while addressing a very large need.

I’m more sick about this then the actual trade deadline. We paying Agholor 9 mil yet we couldn’t address a big need for just about 1 mil. Low risk high reward.

To be fair, Sid only dropped to us in the second round because of that injury. Before that injury, he was a projected first rounder. I think what’s more depressing is that JuJu, Alvin Kamara, Chris Godwin, Golladay, and James Conner, all got drafted after him. Even Aaron Jones was taken 130 picks later than Sid.

you think so? I mean Sid was a beast but Barnett had the sack record for his school and the pass rush drop off from Fletcher to our 2nd best rusher was pretty far

Howie/Joe D had him as a top 10 talent. Based on how that draft went, he wouldve slid that far unless NO wanted him over Lattimore

That’s common knowledge that he was a 1st round talent, everyone knows that. All I’m saying is that an Achilles injury on literally a rep he wasn’t even supposed to take at his pro day has messed his career up. Expectations wouldn’t be high if he wasn’t a first round talent.

I agree he def had the talent to go in the first. Sucks that he can’t recover fully from that hamstring. Even with an entire year to heal he still can’t overcome it. It’s a shame but he’s still young so hopefully he can turn it around. A lot of secondary guys have a rough start to their career then turn it around so let’s pray he can do the same next season
