im just trying figure out what the hell they were trying accomplish

like even if miles got the ball, he’s running back to the middle of the defense

and it ain’t like when we run those shuffle passes and at least you got the defense thinking you’re going one way and then throwing a quick lil pass with someone already in motion and looking for space

on this the defense is coming towards Carson who has the ball and then miles is going run right into those guys chasing on the backside

its terrible play design and situational awareness by Doug. Idk why this team tries to get cute like we have the Chiefs weapons

but I don’t even get how you think the play works unless you somehow luck out and completely catch them off guard overloading to the right side and then just have a huge lane up the gut

but still you still gotta bank on actually getting the ball to the back on the right side before the extra defender on that side gets to him
