THE absolute coolest thing about today’s game and last weeks was seeing vets like Peters, Alshon, and Jenkins be genuinely happy for the new guys Ward and Scott getting their shot and running with it

that MVP caliber season year 2 was a curse in disguise. It raised the bar so high for him in year 3/4 that the media and fans expected dude to throw 40+ TDs every season. And it also made Howie comfortable not signing enough high level receivers thinking Wentz would work magic with guys like Agholor and JJAW

Deshaun Watson has 2 more passing TDs than Wentz and he has Hopkins, a top 3 WR.
Dak has 1 more passing TD and has Amari Cooper, a top 10 WR.
there’s a lot of other examples but you get the point. He also has less INTs than Dak and Watson. Considering his lack of weapons, it’s clear he isn’t the issue.
Yeah he makes mistakes like his fumbling issues, but I hate when people point out his lack of accuracy. Every QB makes bad passes but when he makes good ones, they’re usually catches. Wentz will have 7 incompletions off bad throws but will finish with 14 incompletions because of drops.

I agree that depth is crucial but I hate this committee BS. That works well when you don't have a stud in your backfield. I don't see a reason for any RB to take touches away from Sanders. Unless he needs a breather or the situation absolutely dictates otherwise, he should get the vast majority of our touches out of the backfield. We have LeVeon Bell on the Steelers in our backfield; there's no reason to be giving touches to anyone else (that's a reach at this point, but it's an analogy that makes sense).

yuck. We couldn't hit on even ONE good receiver? I swear next year, I don't want them to even think of drafting any possession receivers. Give me speed speed speed and route running. JJAW looks like he's never run a route in his life out there. The running into Goedert was inexcusable
you gotta at least ATTEMPT to throw it deep just to keep the defense honest but I'm afraid Carson is too worried about trying to play perfect and won't pull the trigger. That's why I put it on the coaching staff to design something we havent seen before. Has a receiver on this team ever run a double move before? Sluggos? Nothing creative. It's like all we run are slants and crossing routes

I think it's a combo of Carson favoring guys like Ertz and Goedert (this been the rumor since last year) and JJAW not progressing like he should be.
