jefferson is going do work in the slot for sure, but he has the talent to maybe develop into an outside guy
I think for sure he’ll be better than jmatt.. but his highest ceiling might be in the slot
and we need outside guys, even thought I think Jefferson offers different stuff from the slot than jmatt did and doesn’t clearly clash with ertz like jmatt did.. but still ward can man the slot, hell desean if he stays can go to the slot along with ertz playing a ton in the slot.. and maybe JJAW plays a jmatt type slot role

That article on Alshon gave no hope in finding a way out t forhis year, for how good Howie is, restructuring Alshon to save a few mill last year this guaranteeing his deal for 2020 was a bad move.

If we wait til June, we can spread the dead cap hit over multiple seasons. Similar to a buyout/stretch provision in the NBA. So instead of a 26 mil dead cap hit it would be closer to 15-16 mil
