At this point, I’ll take Slay. We might over pay considering his injury history and age but I’ll take it. Trade for him and draft another young DB to learn under his wing and call it a day

Great talent but still not entirely convinced that he’s worth what he will inevitably be asking contract wise and what the Lions want. Something didn’t sit right with me that the Lions were so willing to shop him. Wonder if they know something we dont

I’m addition/instead of Slay (if we miss out), do we grab a guy like Logan Ryan, Prince, Aqib Talib, or Xavier Rhodes?
also, looking at the free agent WRs, I’d love Robby Anderson, Perriman, or evening AB/Josh Gordon for the low

I'd definitely take a run at Perriman. Won't cost that much at all.

year over year it’s more than Byron but I like the length and guarantee. His good years are now (with him being potentially on the decline in 2019).

That ain’t too bad. If you want to compare him and Byron, Slay has the edge in the playmaking department.
