I for sure would trade JJAW for a 3rd or 4th. He’s supposed to be a big box out guy but assuming we continue with two tight ends, kind of redundant to have a 3rd big body out there

trading JJAW isn't realistic. obviously no team is gonna call you about him, so you start calling up teams and asking what they'd give you, they're gonna smell the desperation. you can do that with Rasul because he's only got 1 year left, he's cheap, has proven he can play a little, and we've accepted that we're moving on from him. plus we'd be fine with a late round pick for him. you don't shop guys unless you've completely moved on from them.

So is there hope with our secondary with Schwartz still playcalling? I remember a lot of people saying Ramsey wouldn't have helped much with Jim calling the plays. So is it really any different now that we've got Slay and whoever else we got back there? Are we still a bend but don't break Defense?

You can play inverted C2 with Ramsey so with that mind things wouldn’t have changed. You play that way when you don’t have multiple S who can’t play deep. McLeod is more of a single high S when Jenk was a box S. That’s why most of the time if is base C3 or Inverted C2

considering both Parks and Mills would both be playing a Jenkins lite role, I don’t see a change to more 2 deep but since Slay can shut down one side of the field and Sid getting his **** together, Jimbo might get more creative
