Nope. Air Jordans were always just "Air Jordans" until around 94 or so. Back in the day, most of us J-heads used to call them bythe year they were made (i.e. the IV's were the 89's, V's the 90's, VI's the 91's, etc.). The first time I ever recall seeing themreferred to by a number/roman numeral was in a Flight Club Mailing around the time that the IX's came out.
