Via The Fader:
"By the time Pill took the stage at the Levi's[emoji]174[/emoji]/FADER Fort on Saturday, everyone had already sweated out any and all Budweiser or Southern Comfort they'd attempted to consume. So when you watch the audience going loco in this live performance of Pill's anthem "Trap Goin Ham," just know that you can't blame their enthusiasm on the alcohol. Blame it on the unbridled charisma of one of the best rappers out of the A, and the rad dude posse alongside him (including Freddie Gibbs, who'd performed with him earlier in the night). And when FADER editor Felipe Delerme sprayed beer on the dancefloor like he was Puff with Moet in '96, he was stone cold sober, and no one was even mad because it was the perfect thing to do right at that moment. When in doubt, go ham."

good to see my dude pill getting love like this, especially in nyc. i'm starting to think hip-hop is becoming less and less obsessed with geography.

I love seeing this dude's joint on MTV Jams. IMO, his music (from what I've heard) has something of a universal hip-hop quality that we haven'tseen come from a Southern since OutKast, or former Dungeon Family associate, Killer Mike. I couldn't believe they even filmed his video in Atlanta atfirst, because of the cinematography, but when I recognized some of the signs I was thinking, "This dude is going to be a problem."
