PLEASE LOCK PLEASE LOCK: GSWARRIORS '14/15 SEASON THREAD VOL. NBA CHAMPS!

warriors did have a chance to trade him, but wouldve had to include klay in the package as well for whomever they would bring in (presumably love). definitely not worth it.

and you can appreciate a player for what they brought to the organization in past years, but you can't overlook their diminishing value currently just because of that. true, lee got injured and that's probably affecting his production, but that still doesn't excuse his poor decision making on help defense and the complete disappearance of his midrange shot that was coveted.

watching him play is the most frustrating experience as a fan

I should have added, that I meant prior to this year's trade deadline, I wasn't referring to that far with the K Love situation which thankfully didn't happen. Teams were interested in Lee prior to this year's deadline. It does excuse his poor decisions to some extent. People actually don't realize the man is 31. It's not like he's 25 at his prime. I think we have a good team regardless of David Lee sucking or not.

@dland24  I cannot believe you're a bandwagon fan. After all these years...

It was great to see the team contribute last night. If Barnes and Igoudala play that way for the rest of the year...Watch out.

Last night's game was fun to watch.

Kerr said it best, when Barnes just plays and reacts, he does well. When he thinks about it, even for a milisecond, he doesn't do as well.

I was so frustrated yesterday because they can put the early 90s logo on some Social Media shooting shirts, but they can't drop the throwbacks :{

Those shirts are dope. Thought they were something they gave away for social media day.

thank goodness these weren't an exclusive "giveaway," because then they'd only come in a size XXL and only be suitable for wearing never.

these shirts had potential to be sooo saucy, but tbh that @_____ is just tacky and ruins it for me

Why haven't they ever worn those retros yet? Those are the only retros I want to see the current Warriors wear.

I know they will not but I would like to see them switch back to those uniforms when they more to San Francisco.

So is the arena going to be delayed? I know Lacob was on YSTL, but I haven't been able to watch the interview.

Warriors should honestly consider losing today against the Pelicans, to give them a better chance at knocking OKC out the playoffs and taking that 8th spot.

No Durant and possibly no Ibaka, it really shouldn't matter. Westbrook is good, but he's already shooting 42% from the field and 36% from three. Not worried about OKC, especially if the Warriors defense shows up.

Exactly. Ibaka won't be a 100% even if he is there. Warriors know how to make the adjustment if Westbrook begins to go off.

First your David Lee posts and now this? With Davis doubtful and Asik quesionable Warriors could still beat New Orleans if they rested some players. Back to topic no they should not rest players tonight to help the Pelicans.

A lot of Warriors fans have never been high on Lee. He is a decent offensive player, at best, but his lack of defense out ways what he brings offensively. If he had half the heart Green had, I'm sure most people would like him.
You do realize one of the main reasons they lost the series was because of his play, don't you?

High on David Lee? The man was intrigued to play for the Warriors when he signed the contract 4 to 5 years ago, he averaged 18 points with nearly 10 rebounds in his Warriors career, basically averaging a double double. Sure his defense sucks, but his offense is great at around 18 points that makes up for it along with his rebounding. You could say the same for Iverson, Harden and Carmelo and Nash when their defense sucks but had good offense yet people still praise them and claim they're great. You can't blame all of a team's loss on one man's failure. The Warriors right now are the #1 team in the league right now, and y'all still act like we ain't making the playoffs because of David Lee. Like I said, he got injured, what do you expect? D Rose got injured, but is he averaging the same stats before he got injured? Give the man David Lee a break. We'll get rid of him next season if it would make you guys happy.
When you get paid 14mill or so average a year, you'd be interested in playing anywhere.

And to piggy back off everyone's response, 18 and 10 does not matter when the opposing PF is scoring 25 and 12 in a game that matters.

This also does not include when he's a defensive liability on switching.

For these reasons, this is why D Lee gets a lot of heat.

FOH. why should the nba's best team ever throw a game out of fear of having to play a better 8th seed? we just completely dismantled the supposed other "best" team in the league minus klay. aint no one in this thread afraid of okc, in fact, okc gonna be like dirty laundry and get washed by us. have some damn faith in the warriors breh

Warriors aren't getting washed by OKC without Durant (who is out indefinitely)... Westbrook is not good enough to carry that team through an entire series against the dubs.
