I got Cotto in that fight
Canelo going to send him into retirement...
Canelo TKO
Foreal, specially since the winner HAS to fight GGG
GGG is Cotto's WBC mandatory. I doubt him and his team are going to step aside for this fight without an agreement that the winner fights him immediately. If Canelo wins he gets a voluntary defense.

It doesn't matter who has more pull. They are not fighting for the belt if GGG doesn't agree to step aside. If there is a new belt holder, they get a voluntary defense.
Besides, do you really think GGG has more pull than Canelo?
If Canelo wins I want to see one voluntary defense at the full 160 to get him fully acclimated to the weight, and after that fight GGG.
I'm fully aware of how corrupt the sanctioning bodies are. I just find it hard to believe that if GGG refuses to step aside for this fight, the WBC is still going to allow these guys to fight for the title, when they have already came out and said that GGG is Cotto's mandatory. I mean I understand these organizations make the rules as they go along, but the level of controversy would be nuts. And probably a bad look for the fight. It 100% matters who has more pull and who brings in more money. You're acting like these sanctioning bodies don't follow the dollar signs.

After thinking about it, Oscar is probably just going to pay GGG and his team off, and let him fight Lemieux for the IBF title. To avoid having to fight GGG immediately after Cotto.
