You're absolutely right about arum. That's why Floyd needs to dominate. Emanuel Stewart would constantly talk about how Floyd needs to stop bull****** and get dudes out of there when he has the chance. Shooting pot shots and dancing all night is not gonna get her done this time.

If you look at the score cards for Floyd's more recent fights, they have become closer and closer. There were two judges that scored a draw in the Canelo fight and first Maidana fight. Canelo did not win a single rounds in my book, but even the other two judges had it close 116-112 and 117-111. In both Maidana fights, all of the cards were much closer than they should have been. In the Guerrero fight, the cards were all 117-111. Yet the cards for the Cotto fight looked almost the same, with the exception of one judge scoring it 118-110. Guerrero only won one round, Cotto won 3 or 4. The cards for the Mosley fight were 119-109 and 118-110, which is about right because I had Shane winning two rounds. Overall it looks like Floyd's style has become less and less judge-friendly.

I was watching it on Fox sports (I think) last night as well. I've never been so disgusted with boxing than that draw score. ***** making me think twice about ordering this fight actually.

I'm just hoping for a competitive fight. Personally, I want to see Floyd let his hands go and bring the heat to Pacquiao. I wouldn't be surprised if there is some foul play regarding the scoring. This is boxing we're talking about

I agree. I made a post in here after the Peterson Garcia fight in which I said that judges have favored activity over boxing the last 4 years. I think we will see Floyd throwing more combinations than he has since his PBF days. In reality he doesn't have a choice.

This is exactly why this fight is so intriguing to me. I think Manny and Floyd will bring out the best in each other. The things that trouble each guy, the other guy does well.

some things I noticed... In the first two episodes of Showtimes Inside Mayweather Pacquiao, they brought up that Floyd was robbed in the Olympics. Throughout the years it was never brought up in All Access and 24-7, if it was it was hardly mentioned because I do not recall. Secondly, Floyd insinuated that the Garcia vs Peterson scoring was questionable. This is uncharacteristic of Floyd, he usually says he doesn't watch many other fights or pretends he doesn't know who the fighters are.

I really doubt we'll see combinations from Floyd. But Pacquiao throws so many punches at once and leaves himself so open that Floyd is going to have to counter a lot. Not just that but catch him while he's coming in and stop him in his tracks. It's still most likely going to be 1 or 2 punches at a time. He'd be dumb to start a war with Pacquiao. BUT if he does start throwing combinations - that means he's walking Pacquiao down and has no respect for his power. Would be real bad news for him.

Bradley landed a lot of big right hands on PAC. It was scary only BC Bradley isn't a guy who can crack.

I'm predicting we finally see a left hook coming behind a lead right from Floyd and it will do major damage.

Ahh that reminds me, if Floyd tries to keep up with Manny's feet he can hurt himself. In both the Bradley fights Bradley sprained both ankles in the first and tore his calf in the second. It's something you do not do. Its almost better to just stand there at times. Keep in mind, Bradley is very well-conditioned and was in his prime. If Floyd injures his leg or hurts his hand, and there are several rounds to go he will be food for Pacman.

I think Bradley was too fixated with scoring the knockout that he stopped fighting at his pace. Manny is very good at making fighters fight at his pace. In both Bradley fights you saw Bradley make IMO unnecessary movements when Pac was firing. I thought he should have tried clinching to slow down Pac but I know that is easier said than done.

Simply because it looks worse when he does it to a smaller man, which Mayweather hasn't been in this situation for some time. This guy is not a hardcore boxing fan, so he doesn't really know about Kenny Bayless and whatnot. Whether it is fair or not, the majority of the audience would not mind. it is just something to think about. If Floyd continues holding, he gets a point deducted and if he doesn't it makes him much more vulnerable. Losing a point in a close fight will be crucial.

I agree. I think he should've tried to tie Pac up in the first four rounds to control pace and conserve energy while sapping some of Pac's energy away.

Kenny Bayless has been very lenient to Floyd in the past. but like I said this guy whose idea it was is not all that familiar with boxing and probably doesn't know much about Bayless. But if this fight is to be fixed, I am fairly sure someone can slide Bayless a few dollars and have him moved out of Vegas afterwards to avoid trouble.
