I understand he's going to defend what his "people" are doing.
But it sounds so off, you cant praise these tactics as being the right and justified measures when nobody...**** even Fox News doesnt

It's so embarrassing that even after the president has addressed this situation twice and media is all over it, it just keeps getting worse. I thought this was going to be a day or 2 of the police acting like military but it's going on a week now. Is this real life?
I still haven't seen one credible person say that protesters are the one looting or causing trouble - yet everyone is being tear gassed? Police is literally marching through the streets with their guns pointed, ready to shoot like they're invading an enemy country.
The first day I can slightly understand. The cops were caught off guard and maybe let the power and fear go to their head. But the chief, the governor, everyone has had DAYS to think about this. This is their best solution? This is what days of planning has led to? Threatening media? Escalating the situation? Tear gassing entire neighborhoods with no actual cause? Curfews? This should've been over a while ago. SMH.

We know there is a disconnect with what he's saying vs. what is actually happening. They aren't going to make the Black cop the hero. That's definitely not on the agenda. He's playing the hand he's dealt and doing the best he can. He can go completely opposite and go off the rails and really speak out, but what good will come of that. This is a delicate situation. The name of the game is de-escalation at all costs while maintaining safety. If he has to play the game to achieve that, then so be it. He has to prioritize the danger.Yeah I know

He actually really cares(I believe).
He's in a tough spot, and he's not dodging any questions or face time, he's doing everything he can, imagine being 1 of 4-5 Blacks on the Police Department there.

It makes me sick to my stomach that WHITE anarchists decided to use this tragedy as a chance to create chaos. Of all movements to hijack - white people really couldn't leave this one alone? By all accounts, all the recklessness is being done by white anarchists but at some point, if the cops continue gassing, shooting at and aiming at innocent black people - people are going to retaliate. This is nuts.
