Nice pick-up Russ, those Gucci belts were on sale NM this past weekend. I was going to purchase it but th ebig logo just ins't for me. I like the subtleblack monogram and if it had a regualr buckle, I woul dhave bought it.

So what's the deal with men diving into Gucci, LV, ect. explosion. Is the high cost of the clothing/accessories because of the designername/exclusivity, or is the clothing really better quality than what's on chain store racks? I'm not with the all over print, but the plain items aredecent. School me.

In this new day and age, I guess men are starting to care about how they present themselves. I mean, women do it all the time, so why would it be different tomen.

I personally don't own much designer clothing, aside from a few dress shirts.

But I've noticed its not only quality, but the fit of say a Dolce & Gabbana shirt, is far more superior than something from HM, Mexx, Gap, etc..

As for accessories, my LV accessories are used almost daily but look brand new. The coin pouch for example, I use it in my back pocket daily, and so it goesthrough a lot from sitting, walking, etc. But looks as if I had just purchased it (aside from minor scratches on the zipper).

Quality of materials used/fit is something I'd pay more for, this is pretty much the same for me towards the 'premium' denim.

And I'm not down with all over print either, but there are a few select pieces I can live with.

I've been into this stuff since 10th grade... I'm finishing up college now. The really high end designers are the only ones with integrity behind theirproducts. Armani even outsourced its production to China (some, not all). European luxury made in China FTL. The designs and materials are cool and top notch.You won't find an LV product with a cheap feel to it. Not to mention it is a status symbol. For most, that's enough to make them want it - but thenthey usually look like tools.
