Still don't know how nike is allowing this lol
I think it's bc it's such a limited amount of sneakers waaaay out of the average nike consumers price range that nike doesn't consider it a threat. If anything I look at it as they are paying their respects to the jordan iv. Nike should be flattered that they chose their shoe out of any shoe in the world to make a "replica" of. I don't think it's meant by hender scheme to be sneaky in any way but more to showcase an iconic sneaker.

^ honestly it's not direct competition. A consumer buying those most likely isn't the consumer buying a Jordan 4. Well that's how I look at it

Idk maybe it's not on their radar yet, I don't think corporations get flattered.

Yeah Nike doesn't seem to be the company to be flattered especially if they could capitalize on them. It probably just cost more to hire their lawyers to send a cease and desist than it's worth? If I were Nike I'd tell them to stop and do what they did myself and sell them at a premium. Unless of course they are getting royalties from Hender Scheme that we don't know about.

Send the cease & desist to where exactly? Hender Scheme is some tiny workshop in Japan - I doubt they even have a physical address :lol

But you're right - Nike does not like this sort of thing and definitely doesn't view it as flattery

Trust me, no matter how small the company is, if Nike is determined they will find a way to get their lawyers to the right people to stop it. Hell all they have to do is ask the store that sells them where they got the shoes from and then ask that distributor who made the shoes and they are there.

I actually just googled them and there is an address right there on their website :lol

there's no way that I, a single person who frequents this forum fairly often, have known about these for months and the huge corporation, nike, has no clue they exist. I guess it all depends exactly where they are made and sold too bc some countries don't really have laws against copyright infringement type stuff. Also hender scheme already did Air Force ones, vans, and adidas shell tops. Why didn't any of these companies sue them then? I dunno I just feel like there's no way they could be doing this legitimately if nike was against them doing so.

Slightly off topic - I apologize to the dude I made fun of for complaining about a damaged shoe box. I just got some KDVII delivered to me and while the UPS shipping box was pristine, the KDVII shoe box was all types of damaged. Luckily the shoes were unharmed.

Just has me feeling some type of way...
