But a homie of mine just recently gave me these.

We were moving him into his new crib and he finds them under a bunch of other stuff.
"damn, I haven't wore these since last summer. They're too big anyway, you want them? Take 'em."
Mind you, he wears an 11, I wear a 9. My arenas are a 40. These are a FORTY FOUR.
I offered to sell them for him, he's like "People buy used sneakers?"
Dudes with money man... they're the funniest.

I wear a 44! Send those my way! ha

im glad you were able to switch out and not end up with the wrong size after the fact. sizing down two sizes seems kinda much. i think you got the right size.
after you posted the pic of the other pair i was tempted to go down and check them out myself. but need to take it easy on the spending so i havent gone lol.

They were a little loose so I had to tie them tighter than I wanted so my heel wouldn't slip. But I have wide feet so when I had them tight like that my toes were uncomfortable in the front...and I just didn't want to choke them because the laces/tongue make this shoe. I put 2 pairs of socks on and all my problems were solved. A 39 might have been better than a 40 but I hear they are real hard to find and I think they'd be too narrow. I'm happy with the 40, 41 would've been too big for sure. I'm picking up the ecorce from G on Monday I think. He's been holding my size for me until I got these.
