They didn't have the wheats at the SLP boutique in Houston. Though, we don't get much high end love, so it could just be our store that blows.

Lookin' to dive into the higher-end sneaker game, I have a few questions for you guys.
What stores carry these sneakers?
Can I just roll through and try them on? Or is it snobby-uppity where they frown upon people who try the shoes on but don't end up buying them?
Do most of these run tts? I'm a 7.5 in Nikes, would I be 7.5 or 40.5?

as u can see in my wdywt pics I still rock my pradas with no damns given but you best believe I would be pisses if I dropped 1300 on a pair of CLs and then see em a month later for 600 or less."ALL SIZES WILL BE PRODUCED SPECIFICALLY TO PRE-ORDER REQUEST AMOUNT" That right there to me is a red flag.So they are telling us if they get a 10,000 pre-orders they're going to make that many pairs when they are not Buscemi themselves? I don't trust it. Not to mention the site is made with Wix no disrespect to that website creator but I'd think a luxury product selling website would actually get a site made literally instead of using a commonly used website builder. However I could be wrong so I suggest do some research. The Buscemi is going to be coming to Barney's this January so I'd probably just wait.
*Edit* I read further, that $500 is just a deposit...until the shoes hit their showroom then you will have to pay the remaining balance. However, their Rolex pictures look way to grainy for me to trust the site however, if they have an ACTUAL physical location you could call and or look up I'd say roll the dice if you dare.
"Whole Prada acup effect happen on me?" What you bought alot and they aren't as popular now? If that's the case I wonder about your reason for buying high end shoes or shoes in general? Do you buy it to be trendy or do you buy them because you like them?
I understand that CLs are popular right now but I do like some of their models. Louboutin is a very creative designer. A lot of his shoes for both men and women are highly original.
And as for me buying things only because of the hype that is simply false. Sure at one point or another it has affected my slightly in my decision to purchase something but I'm not that dude buying things simply because kanye wore em or something

Barneys, Bergdorf, Neimans, Saks, Nordstrom, etc... Those would be the first store I'd check out, some carry more or better stock than others but those places tends to be easier for trying on shoes. At the end of the day though, it is up to you if you care or not whether you try on shoes and not buy anything. I know plenty who are embarrassed to do it especially at a high-end departments store that I mentioned but people really shouldn't be, it's these salespersons job to help you out and the best you really could do is make sure you go to the same guy when you actually make a purchase. I have a stack of business cards from all these salesperson and I try to go to one person as much as I can to help them out.

Wheats are at Barney's and on sale on ssense as well in a fsr. Waiting for the next markdown before I pull the trigger on those and the black suedes

The stores that RFX mentioned are department stores that carry multiple designers. If you like a certain designer, they might have a boutique nearby.
As far as trying on shoes, I feel as long as you intend to buy something, just try them on. However, don't be a window shopper and waste the sales associates time by trying on 10 pairs when you don't even have the money to buy anything.
Sizing is all over the place for different designers. I would suggest being able to try them on before purchasing, but if you aren't able to, at least know what the return policy is. We can help if you have sizing questions, but you don't want to buy something online or through a phone order that doesn't fit and is a final sale or you can only get a store credit.
