I've been meeting up with some locals around here in San Diego for Tuesday night rides and it's been kicking my $#%.

I hadn't really ridden much distance since I'm not from the area but I've been riding about 20 miles every Tuesday night.

Can anyone recommend a chrome fork? I'm using the stock Bianchi fork and it's terrible.

I'd wanna roll too if I were in SD.

nitto jag stem
sugino 75s
thompson elite seatpost w/ san marco rolls
velocity deep vs laced to phils

im not really feelin the risers so i gotta swap them out for drops

Bike is legit. Great set of components to boot. I definitely agree with the drops though, you need them asap. Risers with that stem look funny tome.

Phil woods were on sale on a website for 230 and are worth every penny BTW.
DeepVs were 140
nipples, spokes were like 50
Freewheel built them up (rear-3cross, front-radial) 50 for each wheel
so like about 520 all together, i know my pockets are hurt.

BTW ive seen a couple of peoples rides in SF and in other forums too, i seen crisone's kilo on sffixed and ive been drooling over the white nagasawa someone posted awhile back for like forever. that bob jackson frame is ill too.

seat was fixed awhile ago.
and IMO the riser/jag combo is so

but only with nice risers. the riserson my ride are worth $10 and are out of a parts bin

That's not that bad at all. I'm going to try to get a rear wheel built this summer and I'm looking at different hubs now. Not surewhat I want yet but I know anything's better than these formulas

. Definitely getting a white H+Son though

I usually go toBox Dog when I'm back home so I'll check to see how much they charge for wheel building.

yea i know....this fixed gear bike things must be some recent hype thing because i swear casual riders were riding road bikes or mountain bikesand not these things...i havent been to a bike shop in a while since i stopped racing so i may just be out the loop but BMX was always my thing so maybe i justnever noticed those things

yea i'm workin on that. I've got the headset BB and Record Pista crankset so far... need the hubs.

ill probably pass on the seatpost as im not looking to go into carbon, or mixing with old campy. why? im not too fond of having to scour ebay for NOS parts, iguess im weird like that.
