NEED ADVICE!!!

I havea 2011 Altima. Bought used. Currently 36000 miles. Its my first car

It has a CVT Transmission. Been reading ALOT of negative things about them failing.

Should I trade it in? It was appraised at 13000. I seen some 2011 Malibu's for around that price. There would be about a $3000 negative equity rolled into the new car. I kinda don't care about that but what are your opinions on Nissan CVT trans?

I have warranties but I don't want it to fail while I'm driving cuz apparently it sucks

CVT on those Altima's are fine.

A lot of cars now are CVT, not just Nissan's. The new Accord is a CVT.

My main concern is the fail safe feature. I read reports about the trans shutting off in hot weather anybody else experience this?

Always been a VW man. Close to 300hp to the wheels. She'll get up and move

300whp?

Words. Mod list? Thats amazing.

42 draft design full exhaust, cts turbo cold air intake, r8 coil pack, neuspeed short shift, DM stage 2+ ecu tune, full H&R coilovers, eibach strut bars (front and rear), DV kit, dog bone mount, engine mount,

Sure I'm leaving stuff out. Also, 300hp is being very generous. (As most car owners do) Probably not that much but not real far from it

Next year she'll get some body work and a bigger turbo. k04 more than likely

My dad said that he has a small suction cup that could possibly take it out so I'm going to try that this week and see how it goes.
Worth a shot. Gonna be tough though, that looks like a very sharp dent, which even the paintless dent repair guys have trouble getting out/sometimes can't.

300 hp is being VERY generous with those mods, don't those cars stock make like 200 hp at the engine? A tune, exhaust and an intake is not gonna net you even close to 160 hp, which you'd need to make 300 at the wheels, factoring in drivetrain loss. You might be kinda sorta close to 300 hp at the engine :lol

i don't think paintless dent removal is gonna fix that. Time for bodywork or a new hood
Maybe, depends how good your local guy is, and the type of dent
Problem is they can't really get inside the hood to pop that out. I used to work at a dealer so i got to see the paintless dent guys work a lot, it has to be a spot where they can get to the backside of the dent, on most parts of the hood since there is an underside to the hood, it's pretty much impossible

i wasn't gonna say anything but yea, not even 300 at the crank.  I've seen ones with big turbos not even dyno at 300

Sup guys I'm looking to get a new Sedan. Either the 15- Accord, Camry or Mazda 6.

I'm leaning towards the new Camry. Really digging the new look. All would be the Sports edition.

Thanks.
Mazda 6 without a doubt, handles great, good mpg and looks amazing, i'd wait for next years model with the the redesigned interior if I were to get it.

Ohhh ok yea that makes sense, I didn't think about that, bottom of the hood would be real hard to get to.

Those cops were hating hard :rollin
Someone made a parody of that girl walking around New York and getting harassed, by driving a Lambo around New York :lol

Can't believe dude at 1:28 put his grubby paws on it though. I'd be heated

Mazda 6, accord, Camry in that order.

Have you considered the ford fusion?

Toyota did a halfa** job on the new camry

How long have you had it? You can find bad things about every car man I think you're just being paranoid especially if it hasn't given you problems as of yet.

Had to take advantage of the 40° weather in MN :lol

After a wash/wax

1000
