That's just how it is, and how they operate and maintain their name prominent within the industry. Once you've accepted this fact, you will appreciate classic muscle cars more.

Posting fastback mustangs when Aston Martin has been producing fastbacks since the 50's, influencing a bunch of different older muscle cars and American manufacturers, and other manufacturers across the globe.

Aston Martin was purchased by David Brown in 1947

The DB series of cars are named after him.

He owned the company and their product was named after him and he still drove a Jaguar as a daily
