My homie got the Passport and joint was trash. Def a waste of money. Saved him a few times but waaaayy too many false alarms.


And yeah if youre speeding at night you better have a "lead car" charging the way. Other dude will get caught before you.

How much HP does dude have anyway? Would he dust Retro's M4 or WCIS's STi?
Doesnt farm truck run something in the 9s? If so yes he will, unless one of them has gone with turbo(s) upgrade.

Hey, I was in the same boat that's why now I wouldn't buy anything but the top ones because they actually work. Just none of those very high quality detectors mean they also have the best laser jammers. You have to purchase a separate jammer, which is also way superior to the ones that come with those systems as this company focuses solely on jammers.

Payed only $80 for mine, apparently it was a Cobra( fluent this out like last week). Had never done research on radar detectors before that, it immediately went to the trash.

I pulled on an M4 while him at full throttle and me nearly 20 car lengths behind, in 5th gear. I'm almost sure he was stock.

I only have bolt-ons on stock turbo, block and TMIC.

E92 modded looking m3, exterior wise tried to ricer fly by me. Once he was about 2 car lengths, I dropped the gear, break-boosted and was instantly just gone. As if he just let go of the throttle. Probably tried to fly by me at around 65-70

I believe the Lightning is 300 pounds lighter. That being said, the HD dude is offering has a pulley swap and exhaust, so it's got a little more power then my truck, which offsets that.

Good point, I believe you're probably right. Although chances are I won't keep either for long.

Harleys are def rarer, and more practical.
I was thinking the same thing, more seats. Then I realized that since the interior is 4 bucket seats, it actually only has 1 more seat then my Lightning since mine is a 3 person bench (which I've used in a pinch a couple times, it's actually not as squishy with 3 people as you'd think)

Tempting. I always liked the Harley-Davidson edition trucks even though I don't care for Harleys. I would do it cause I prefer 4 doors on trucks. Bolt-ons are a bonus.
Bolt ons are the main reason I'm considering it to be honest.

Its a radar detector and laser jammer. A lot of high end cars that come through my shop have them.

Id go with the Harley, i've always liked them better because they arent stepside.  My bosses dad has one that is lowered on Belltech suspension and it looks really nice
That truck is clean :smokin . They look really nice with a little drop on em. Stock, the Harleys sit too high for my taste.

Tough decision to be honest NT fam. I think ultimately I'll probably just keep mine, for the simple fact that I KNOW my truck is solid and needs no work. Whereas the truck with bolt ons, I'm sure needs something, plus it may have been driven hard since it has bolt ons. Dunno if it has been tuned properly for the added 6 pounds of boost its pushing due to the pulley swap too.

I get the liking of trucks like that, just IMO trucks in general should be used differently. Some people can argue that my car should be strictly used off-road,gravel, etc. I'll never do that to my car.

6 weeks though :x I haven't washed my car in two weeks and I'm already feeling bad lol

I would wash my car every 2 weeks if there wasn't a few issues. The apartment I live in doesn't have any outdoor water faucets were I can screw in a hose. Plus I live on the second floor, which means I have to carry multiple buckets of water up and down a flight of stairs. :smh:
You just need a waterless car wash & some microfiber towels. Im in the same position as you and wipe down my car every week.
 
Bruh those 4 door f150s are ugly af to me. The only one of that gen I'd consider is the step side single cab.

Yea i read that figure somewhere. Could be referring to the extended cab HD vs the lightning and not the 4 door. Or it could be wrong all together, I didn't look into it very hard :lol:
