That means I can scoop up an older model for even cheaper by then. I was planning on getting one this spring/summer, so if the prices aren't looking good to me then, I'll see whats good after the new one drops

No the Challenger is ending its production run. You'll be able to ge a 14' (if you wait) very cheap.

The barracuda will simply be another model. It's not replacing anything.

A refreshed Challenger is coming out in 14 for 15 model year though.

It's going to be lighter and shorter with an 8 speed transmission.

You sir are incorrect.

This has been known for quite some time, kinda shocked you guys are thinking different. Same with the Dodge Magnums, the Chally is Bye Bye.

Barracuda to Replace the Challenger

And yes, the 2014 Chally (This years model) will be the final run.

With this concrete evidence that you have posted from these obviously verifiable sources I apologize for doubting you.

U r wrong..for the moment anyway..it was a decision over a year ago to replace the chally all together..but now with the recent spike in sales since last year they may re-model the chally while bringin in the smaller Cuda under the SRT badge

It would be smart because the Cuda is estimated right now to start around 45k+ for the base as to where the Chally is more around 25k

I plan on getting 1 of these cars in the future

This, every recent report that actually quotes an exec has them keeping the Challenger and that was before it started selling neck and neck(in January they sold the same amount roughly) with Mustang(which is crazy to me considering the v6 version of a Challenger is 5k more than a v6 Mustang)

Thats damn good news then. Love the Challys... Really thought from what we were hearing over here that they'd kill them off like the Magnums

Sweet TL Type S, I'm looking into getting one this summer as well. Too bad it's nearly impossible to find one for sale that's blue or in the dark grey color Acura had.

My previous car's engine blew so I was forced into getting a car and had been wanting a Type S for awhile now. Thankfully I got one of only 2 that were on sale within 250 miles of my area. The other was the royal blue but it had 93k and 3 owners though.

i pray they dont change the way it looks, the challenger is a classic.

i know they will be adding the 8.4 screen and digital gauges so it will be a huge interior change which was needed.

They gotta change it. I just hope they do a better job than what they did with the Charger refresh.

Im good with the digital gauges they just have to keep thr the spirit of the car the same.

What!?!?! The charger refresh was amazing, what's Wong with u
