Swapped my badges out for matte black. I was feeling the clean look (first pic) for a week or so but I think it looks better with something there.

Leaving my Dual Motor P badge off on the back

Back when Honda made good looking coupes"

*shows a CRX*

Lets just forget the NSX, Integra, hell the Prelude, older Si's. CRX is older but still.
IMHO, that and the generation that proceeded it were highlights of Hondas original design ethos.

The interesting thing about the EV transition is that it's an opportunity for brands to bring more throwback references to previous designs, now that there's less worry about engine packaging requirements up front.

The Honda e city EV is a perfect example-
(inspiration, the 1974 Honda Civic-which was a staple and a critical product for the Honda brand): The front graphics, and character line below the window is a nice callback.

Inside, the screens allow for a removal of quite a few switches, which in turn declutters the enveloping dash-again another nice recall to an era where interiors were far more ‘honest’ from a design POV; along with the lack of a true transmission tunnel in the floor plan-those ICE products from circa 1970-1980s were quite narrow.

Went to a local audio shop last night to inquire about a 10" sub for my Fusion. The stock system is pretty good, but it seems to have a built in limiter -higher you set the bass, more mids and treble you lose. I actually have my bass set to -3.

Well, dude was very dismissive and basically told me I might as well do a 12 inch, otherwise the stock system will drown out the bass and I wouldn't gain anything tangible. And not only that, he was trying to sell me on a pair, because the singles he had don't come with a bass knob I can control.

Main reason I don't want a 12 is losing my trunk space. One of the things I like is that the backseat folds down, extending me another 3 feet if I have large items.

What made me suspicious, is dude was trying to sell me on a 90 day payment plan. No interest, but if I don't pay it off in the 3 months it doubles from 1400 to 2800. I told him that was a bit steep considering I only plan to keep the car for 18-24 mos max. He did say when I get a new car, they'll uninstall and put it in the new one free of charge...

Anybody experienced with audio?

I hope you peeled out of that parking lot and drove as far as you could away from it.
