GTS is pretty rough too though.

Compared to a GT3, it’s night and day. The engine character is also very different too. The GTS has better low end power where as the GT3s power band is in the higher RPMs so city driving will feel a bit more sluggish off the line.

The GTS is designed for better daily usability where as the GT3 is obviously tracked focused. Understand the closeness in price point argument but many people don’t want a Gt3 level car to drive everyday when they’re just doing some spirited cruising

I mean you can get a GTS Targa lol. I dont get the GTS trim really though, I mean I do but eh. The GTS is like .2 quicker than an S, though it comes with a lot “stuff” standard, center locks, suspension bits and brakes from the Turbo, etc. I guess if you option out an S with enough stuff then sure GTS but why not just GT3 it at that point.

I don’t even know the ADM on those GT3s and aren’t the allocations hard to get especially nowadays :lol?

My initial point moreso was S vs GTS. I get that but why even get a GTS, it wont be as comfy as an S and spirited driving here and there and mainly a daily an S would be “better”. GTS is barely quicker, but I get it thats not the point. Itll handle and all that better but thats what im saying, if you want that much more than an S, which isnt a slouch at all, then just go for a GT3. Idk, maybe its a badge flex too.

Allocations will come with an ADM and used models is basically the same as an allocation + ADM. :lol

Youre looking at basically a quarter millie no matter how you cut it.

Well for some, they liked the added benefit of what the GTS offered (more HP, center lock wheels, etc) without having to jump into Gt3 territory.

This 992.2 generation offers a major distinction now with the hybrid system which I doubt the “S” model will offer. So the GTS will be more unique in that sense

Can't stand people who park like this

992.2 might be a game changer for sure, and yeah center locks, suspension, brakes from the Turbo but power is negligible tbh. Its like what 20-30 more hp, like .2 sec faster?

Would any of you guys lease a GMC Hummer EV 2X? I saw a decent lease deal for $849 a month, so I just wanted to get opinions on it.

Yeah, unless you have a long standing history of purchases with a dealer (which includes other GT/Turbo cars) one isn't walking into a Porsche store cold and ordering a GT3. Not gonna happen. Heck, a Turbo S isn't happening and MAYBE a 992.2 GTS COULD happen, but it will be years to get it. The game Porsche plays is so freaking stupid.

Oh and don't have your heart set on PTS. That's even harder to get. You'll more likely to find SpongeBob at the bottom of the sea than get that (unless you are a VIP). And this info is from friends who buy cars and are in the know down at POTML (Porsche of the Main Line in SE PA.

If you have a GT-car trade-in, getting a new allocation isn't difficult.

And also the difficulty of getting a PTS allocation is a myth.

I haven't been paying attention to 992s, but I know "PTS" was the most common colour amongst the 991 generation of GT3s.
