\\ Post Your Car vol. Been a minute //

Sounds good to me, I used it a couple times on an Audi sq5. It used to go through water pumps
I’m opting for the Ford Premium Care plan, which allows me to take the vehicle to any Ford or Lincoln dealership for service. Once you mentioned it, I read about recurring issues with cam phasers and transmissions, which is concerning. Looking back, I probably should’ve gone for the 2022 Tahoe RST, but I was aiming for something cheap at the moment.

After delaying the purchase of an SUV but due to my current car situation, I decided to move forward and purchased a used 2021 Expedition Limited. The price was reasonable at $39,000 with 39,000 miles, making it a comfortable investment for me at this time without loosing sleep. Initially, I chose not to purchase the extended warranty, but I’m reconsidering. The dealership quoted $3,500 for coverage up to 100,000 miles. What are your thoughts on whether this is worth it?

If they are selling you the Ford ESP Premium Care, then take it and run! The piece of mind alone is worth it. If it's a component listed in the master sheet showing all covered parts, it's covered no questions asked with a standard $100 deductible (can make the higher or lower to adjust the price of the plan). Plus if gives rental car access if the covered part keeps the car overnight, and also travel expenses reimbursement if the breakdown occurs so many miles from home. Meaning if you are on a trip, and a covered part breaks, and you have to stay the night at a hotel while they fix it. They will pay you back for that up to a certain dollar amount. 👍

Now if they are selling you some 3rd party plan, that isn't worth the paper it's written on. We ONLY sold the Ford ESP and never got into other warranty companies as those companies always found a way to NOT pay.
