Dude apparently knows the market for automobiles & why people purchase them yet can't distinguish the difference regarding that of replicas. Ninja, is that you?
Some posters in here actually make sense while most are horrible back-trackers and/or have very little knowledge of cars aside from using Google...
Or maybe I've never bought a pair of replica wheels?
Ever thought of that?
So I have little knowledge of cars just cause I don't know whats good with replica wheels?
I hope you're not this big of a douche in real life
You don't have to purchase replicas to get an idea of what most are composed of. This goes for anything replica, variant, etc...
The key point I'm trying to make: Use common sense...
Your previous post was basically a regurgitation of what most people already know. You could have summed that up in 2-3 sentences instead of going on a useless tangent name-dropping cars. Even then, you brought up 2 examples. One being a modest billionaire while the other, a high-schooler dreaming for an Evo. How about Ralph Lauren and his stable of Classics & Exotics? What about that dude that upgraded from his '99 Civic to an E46 M3 because it's now affordable? What about the guy that dropped his Abflug Supra for a Murcielago because his funds were right? Do you understand why most consumers tout your list of 90s imports so much? They inevitably have that stigma of being within financial reach at one point-in-time. Essentially, an attainable 'unicorn'. However, priorities change. I certainly don't look at NSXs or Supras the same way as I did before. Beautiful cars, but I'm past that Super Street phase. Just looks like you're getting mad because I (or others) don't see particular vehicles as "special" as you do all while saying "let people like what they like". Financial status changes that scenario regardless if one's doing it for himself/herself or for others...
I can make long posts about things people already know too...
Whats sad is, even with my "useless" rants, you still don't get the point I was making.
You're stuck on the names I dropped, rather than the ultimate point.
Dudes were in here talking about "Nah man, **** the Challenger, american cars are trash, my inifiniti can smash that, I got x y z car, blah blah blah".
Ain't nobody mad
, Its fine that YOU are past that "phase" but its not a phase to everyone. Thats what you're misunderstanding bruh. To some people thats just what they like... To you it may be "I'm going to whip this G37 around until I can cop me an M6" but to someone else, the G37 is cool enough. They love they way it looks and thats fine with them.
I follow a guys blog called Grand Mighty. The dude has driven a bunch of cars and most recently went from his BMW back to an RX-7. Why was that? Because different people are into different stuff. In your head it might be a "phase" or you might have grown out of it. But just like I said in my previous posts, different people like different ****. Don't assume that just because its a phase for you that its a phase for everyone.
I never said the opposing side was wrong for liking what they like. I said don't attack others for being into something different than you.
I guess you still don't get my point though, even though I regurgitated it like 3 times... If you KNEW that, you wouldn't be responding with stuff that supports my point.
EVERYONE'S DIFFERENT.
If you like some **** I'm not into, cool. Whatever. But I was trying to be a peacemaker to stop the whole "***/Euro > American/Hemi" debate...
