05fordgt 05fordgt did the prices on the emiras get hiked?
i saw starting was 99k
curious how u feel about that?
a steal for what ur getting but thought they were starting at 80 for some reason

Yes they did, for the First Edition 2.0 models. Lotus is eating the price increase for all F.E 1.0 orders (it's a lot of $$$) since they have been waiting the longest, but they had to shut it down somewhere so they are changing the prices for the 2.0s. It is what it is. Porsche also had a bit of an increase, at $5,100 for the base, S and GTS 4.0 Cayman and $13,000 for the 4RS. And that is just base price, not including what the options will most likely also increase.

Every manufacturer has increases, and some are more than others based on the price of the cars. The starting price was never going to be in the $80s. It is somewhere around that number in British Pounds, but once the base model is available without all the extra options that are standard on the First Editions, then you'll see a less expensive car.

Me, I'd drop most comfort items. Don't want power or memory seats. I'll keep heat but the others, meh. I'd also drop the blind spot system as well. Make it a little lighter and cheaper. Fine by me. And yes, even at the new price for a F.E. 2.0 V6 stick, it's still a bargain for what you get.

I'll take that 2013-2014 GT500. 5.8L "Trinity" motor. It's not some 5.4 Shelby motor made bigger. It's it's own motor. Totally bespoke for the car. 662 hp and the last Solid Axle Shelby and last manual GT500! Car will become a collectable! We only got 2 allocations for each year and I had them sold fast! Such a beast! If anything ever happens to my car and I wanted another Mustang, I'd track down a 2013-2014 GT500 (though I wouldn't get another Mustang honestly, I'd get my dream car).

probably gt500

i think thats the car where they had to put beadlocks from factory because there was too much torque and the tires would spin on the rim? am i right?

Just stole this 2005 collectible for $6k

Man I love this car, it’s so classic and the fit and finish is amazing. Love the interior and the V8 gives it a nice soundtrack with the top down. Congrats man 6k is a steal
An underrated gem indeed and so damn reliable. 207k miles, still smooth, nothing rattles, Lexus interior still mint after almost 20 years and indeed the V8 is refined.

Cool pick up. At the time the most reliable car on the road. The hardtop takes 25 seconds to drop. Double wishbone suspension and shares with the GS at the time. The 4.3 V8 made the same 300hp as the 4.0 but made more torque.

Funny fact it was one of the last cars with a cassette deck!

Congrats! This is so 🔥. I remember seeing these all over the place when I was in Junior high circa 2003. Barely see them anymore. Exterior/interior looks flawless. Watch out for them nyc potholes when you're out driving it, lol.

Man I was looking at an SC for a project car but the interwebz experts said the V8 in that was trash.

Getting an alignment as we speak lmaooo
Nice! Idk if you go to Firestone in Westbury for alignment but I have the lifetime alignment deal with them for both my cars & it's only $190 bucks if I remember correctly. You can do an alignment everyday if you want with that deal, lol.

Most places charge between $100-$180 for 1 single alignment so figured I'd let you know because it's a helluva deal.

Lotus Emeya EV. Looks amazing! :pimp:

i think lotus can really shake things up in the electric car world
i feel like they've always had cars which handle great but have a not spicy motor
now with the electric motors making power so easy it'll be interesting
personally not interested tho, once you hear a v12, flat 6, v10 or even a v8 behind ur head electric don't make u hard
