For the startpage i'm using this until I figure out how to make my own
there's a file the that looks like a webpage,
you click on that file, then set that page as your homepage

Then you just open that same file in notepad and replace
the existing links with the links you want to use

You can change the background pic by putting the image you
want to use in the images folder and renaming it accordingly.
