I need an age check for most of you on 3/9/97 (Freakin kids dont even understand the mans impact on the music they listen to NOW)had me listening to the clean vers. of blueprint when it came out. its funny bc shes just turning 60 this year and she stay listening to all eyez on me. she'll go through my music, play ghostface, and actually vibe to it. she never really messed with or praised biggie as much though, didn't think he had as much as a message as pac (her favorite rapper). she used the same reasoning for why she likes nas more than jay, although she messes with them both.
So i kinda inherited that type of mentality towards Big. she also hates anything by em and refuses to listen to him at all, which in a conversation we chalked up to her hating the idea of white rappers and "capitalizing millions off a black culture", but i usually stop picking there. Subconsciously probably one of the reasons i don't really listen to Em either.
