so you think that deandre jordan and javale mcgee can't average 15 and 20 rebounds a game back then?

really?

seriously?

honestly?

Jordan is averaging 10 and 15 right NOW......

and 30 and 25 by big dipper would be done by guys like Kevin Love, Dwight Howard, Cousins and Drummond.
Any decent player in this era could put up wilts #s, & bill russell was overrated, any player that played before the nba aba merger is overrated, none of them should be top 10 players

Pretty sure you guys are saying this not accounting for the fact that they could in theory be 20 and 10 guys (More so Wilt than Russ) in today's NBA due to the fact that they had incredible size back then, which would translate to today's NBA. Combine that with the fact that they would have grown up with modern medicine, modern training to their already superior size and athleticism, they probably would be really good in the NBA.

It's stupid to take a 60's version of Wilt and put him against Today's NBA players without giving him the same advantages and lifestyle that current NBA players enjoy.

But i'm sleep doe..

So you pretty much agree

another thing, people always mention Wilt but forget to mention Bob Pettit who was also putting up similar per game numbers.

it just goes to show the disparity in overall league skill from then to now.

26 and 16 a game for Pettit.

30 and 23 for Wilt.

:| If you think these guys would put up these type of numbers today.

c'mon ya'll.

No man. Y'all out here saying Wilt Chamberlain would be Deandre Jordan and Javale McGhee. If he was incredible back then, give him the current modifications that life has to offer to add to his already incredible size and athleticism, and he would be closer to shaq than either of those two guys

Obviously he wouldn't be putting up 50 and 30 but he's easily average 20-25 and 12-15.

so ya'll agree then?

that they wouldn't put up the numbers they put up back then now?

and that their numbers were inflated because of lack of competition?

okay....good to know.

25 and 15 tho.....

So he'd put up better numbers than Shaq? :rolleyes

Yeah, okay.

So make them better and they'd play better because back then they weren't as good?

So you basically agree......

We've had some irrelevant arguments in here, but whether past players would survive in the present or present players would do good in the past takes the number one spot.

Deandre jordan is the most athletic big man in the league, :lol at shaq :{ your opinion is flawed

Who the hell thought it was a good idea to put little pieces of fruit in jello?
I wanna go back in time & kill them

Bro Brittney Griner would've put up 20 and 10 back then.

That shows you something.

The NBA is soft now. Don't even compare guys from the past to now. ****** now are terry cloth.

We're talking about an era where guys couldnt shoot, nobody's thought of a cross over, and more than half couldn't dunk........

Imagine a league with nothing but Luke Walton .........

We not comparing 80s 90s ball. We're comparing to the 60s where if you could dribble with your offhand you were an unstoppable god.
