Street fighter was always my first fighting game love but I remember Mortal kombat dominating the arcade scene. People in lines lining up quarters on the machine, doing special moves and fatalities and the whole arcade would roar in excitement because back then special moves weren't given to you in the instruction booklet. They were like urban myths and they were being passed around. So many rumors that went on with Mortal Kombat... Man y'all took me back

There was no fighting game EVER bigger than Street Fighter 2. It was 80 dam dollars when it came out on Super Nintendo. Enuff said. 80 Dollars in the early 90's mind you. That was the most anticipated game of all time.

74.99 80 bucks wit da tax. The only reason i remember is my neighbor got it first and my brother was hatin and we had to talk my dad into buyin it so we didnt have to keep asking for money to play it at the local pizza spot.
