Seller say's his h/o is 180.. really? So these should be work 40 dollars?

Nobody with a fully functioning brain would offer $180 for those.
$40 even seems too much to me -even if you managed to successfully sole swap them to a high standard, you'd be lucky to flip them for much more than $60-80 -all that work for $40 profit 

Personally, I just don't see the point in buying shoes in this condition, I love the good ol' Nike Air as much as the next man, but dudes are soo thirsty for it these days that they can't see the woods for the trees.

Im hoping no one buys it from him and i'll be the one to purchase it for much lower. He probably hiked up the price for the upper because of all the trouble he went through to remove the midsole. nevertheless, if it came with the midsole and its still in good condition, i will snag that pair for 180.

You're right though, 40 is a decent price but you can go lower.

I wouldnt take those for free. Theyre not even good candidates for a sole swap

I agree with this^^. I would only take a close to DS pair to be a good candidate for a sole swap. these have been worn quite a bit and all the work in swaping out another pair of 4's wouldnt be worth it. I would take em for like 10-15 tops just to have them but thats even pushin it.
