PS3|VITA Thread: Vita $249 | PS3 BF3 Tonight PG727 | Black Ops 3rd Map Pack PG726 | Dust514 PG723

i will never understand why this thread doesn't blow up little big planet

game is crack. most re playability ever. best game in the world to watch when you aren't even playing. easiest game to pass the controller around since mariokart. even girls love this game. yall are slacking. can't wait to get high as %*%$ and mess around with little big planet 2

slacking damnit. show sackboy some love already

I always wanted to play LBP. But like most games I want to play, I never get the time/money to actually play them. And with the plethora of interesting-looking games coming out soon, LBP2 most likely wont get love either

you should wait until little big planet 2 game of the year when it's like 30 bucks. by that time there will be some crazy user created levels and you won't have to drop 70

it's a potheads best friend. these maniacs who make the levels spend weeks on them. end up fantastic. just bright colors and crazy movements all over the place. so fun

It's been on sale at the $15 to $17 price range on amazon for like 3 months now. I've been tempted to cop it but right now just got to many games in my back log that I'm just getting around to playing while I take a break from GT5.

I pre ordered Mass Effect 2 from amazon and will be using the $20 future credit on LA Noire which also has $10 future credit for pre ordering it off amazon.

PS3 hackers make Modern Warfare 2 'unplayable,' Infinity Ward cannot patch a fix.

"It's in total shambles and unplayable." That's how one Joystiq reader describes Modern Warfare 2 on PSN. With PS3 system security in disarray, hackers and cheaters have run rampant on Infinity Ward's Call of Duty games. Players unwittingly placed into a hacked server can meet the unfortunate consequence of losing all their stats and, unfortunately, it doesn't appear a fix is in sight.

"Games rely on the security of the encryption on the platforms they're played on," Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling explained on the game's official forums. "Unless the security exploit itself is resolved on the platform ... updates to the game through patches will not resolve this problem," he admits, adding, "at this time, we do not have the ability to restore or adjust individual stats."

Although Bowling adds that "we are looking at every option available to us to help any user affected," it appears the situation is quite dire, especially when one considers the workarounds Bowling suggests. You can submit a PSN grief report, play exclusively with friends via private matches, or play Black Ops, which does "not rely solely on platform security" -- something Infinity Ward promises to learn from in future games.

i love how IW is blaming Sony. its IW fault for making it so easy to mod game files. in the beginning you just needed to connect a usb and mod it in a Hex editor.

instead of these gaming sites reporting how inferior the ps3 version of black ops is, they focus on how its sonys so-called fault letting hackers run free on a two year old game that shipped crappy.

Amazon will give you $12 trade in value for it. Which means gamestop/EB games who are crooks will probably only give you $6 to $8 bucks for it. I HATE and try as much as possible to not do not any business with them at all. The other day before I listed my OG 60GB PS3 on craigslist I went into my local gamestop to see what they would offer for it and they said "if everything works fine the most we will give you is $90 bucks". I gave the stupid teenager employee & store manager the

and left. But yeah there are times where I pre order and get games from them because of the DLC pre order exclusive stuff for games like for Test Drive Unlimited 2.
Portal 2 on PS3 features cross-platform chat, multiplayer and a free Steam copy
Valve's announced that the PS3 version of Portal 2 will be quite chummy with its PC and Mac cousins come April 20, revealing full cross-platform compatibility: PS3 users can chat with Steam users, play multiplayer with them and even partake in cloud-based storage. The disparity between the PS3 and PC/Mac versions appears to be about non-existent now.

Additionally, those who pick up the PS3 game are ensured a free voucher for the Steam Play version of the game, should they link their PSN and Steam accounts. "We hope to expand upon the foundation being laid in Portal 2 with more Steam features and functionality in DLC and future content releases," said Valve's Gabe Newell.

Head past the break for the full press release.
