PS3|VITA Thread: Vita $249 | PS3 BF3 Tonight PG727 | Black Ops 3rd Map Pack PG726 | Dust514 PG723

Great gaming week, pick up Modern Warfare 2 on Monday, copped Midnight Club: Los Angeles on Tuesday, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Beta & 2k10 on Wednesday,Netflix PS3 Disc and NG:Sigma 2 today and tomorrow might copp Uncharted 2.

audi

i know you what you mean about uncharted

my close friend brandon (nctwin) brought uncharted 2 over my house the other day (well, that and a PHAT stack of games he wanted me to check out). Another oneof my brothers brought MW2 over and the stack of games was quickly ignored.
laugh.gif
but when everyone was getting ready to leave my place brandon wanted me to see uncharted, he put it in, played for a while, i watched him play forabout 10 mins and quickly snatched up the controller and took over. i was dead tired, but somehow found some energy.

i was VERY impressed, i got part one from a co-worker for 20 bucks and i am already on chapter 10 been playing a couple days in a row after work... i'm notreally looking for treasures just trying to finish it first, i may go back...

but i was in awe of this game, i am going to buy part 2 tomorrow just to have it on deck :-)

so i understand your excitement

enjoy!

b, when you coming back by?

i will make some more of my famous popcorn for you!

From the PS Blog:
adhocParty for PSP Available Soon

Hi everyone! Great news for all of you Ad Hoc fans out there -adhocParty for the PSP system, which first launched in Japan last year, is coming to North America! AdhocParty is an online service that allows PSP owners with a PS3 system to connect to one another via the PlayStation Network. It will be available as a free download on the PlayStation Store soon.

So, how does adhocParty work? PSP titles with adhoc mode traditionally require you to play within close proximity to each other. AdhocParty takes advantage of the interoperable capabilities of the PSP and PS3 systems. It enables you to play games featuring Ad Hoc mode, such as Gran Turismo and Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, over the Internet through the PS3. Your PSP connects to the PS3 via Wi-Fi, allowing you to chat online with fellow gamers in North America before jumping into competition from the comforts of each of your respective living rooms.

In addition to all of its competitive and social gaming features, adhocParty for PSP supports voice chat through the Wireless Headset or PlayStation Eye, offering you a complete and
immersive gaming experience only available on the PlayStation platform.

2 things

First: Dont know how people were hating on GTPSP just download it and its probably the best racing game i played on the psp

Second: Amazon.ca is offering AC2 for 49.99 but the best part is they give u a 10 dollar gift card which u can use to apply to Final Fantasy XIII or God of WarIII

I know I just copped MW2 but I love this game, had to pick it up

BTW, can someone school me on Final Fantasy?

I don't know about all this Leona Lewis theme song stuff...
grin.gif

But I am STOKED by this news.

I thought at earliest they would release it summer 2010, with it being more likely in winter 2010.

But Spring?!

I think they'll stick to it too, that was a big %#% production piece they put together for JUST the NA/EU release date, I doubt they change, and if theydo, maybe a week or two.

Either way, I am stoked..

My most anticipated Final Fantasy since X, been a lifelong fan since the NES/SNES days.

CAN
NOT
WAIT.

By the way, no chance in hell I'm getting this on 360...

But you are probably right....

I can still move the time off as long as I give 2 weeks notice, so whatever. Good to finally have a general idea, though.

Ya'll think I'm on MW2 alot? I may die from this game.

After hearing the song that Leona Lewis is supposedly supposed to be having in this game, I'm really sketch...

Final Fantasy music is much better without vocals in any of the songs. Even Suteki Da Ne is terribly overrated.

Bad move by Lewis, bad move by SE.

Simply put, greatest video game series. Ever. Every RPG created wants to be the "next" FF.

Will it have online? I was lookin up final fantasy last night and read that XIV will be a MMOG

That's like buying a Ferarri and saying, "Naw, don't like the color of those spark plugs..."

May have some component, but I doubt anything major.... Hybrid?

XIV is completely online, and should (hopefully) be out next year as well.

Doubt XIII will have anything online, its going to be a standard single player RPG i believe. But yeah FFXIV will be mmorpg like FFXI was though.

I can't wait for XIII but can't wait even more for Versus XIII

I'm just saying, you take a look at most of the other Final Fantasy themes, and they're theme songs from video games that you recognizeand love.

This isn't something that'll have me remembering the game by. It's not necessarily bad, but the lyrics don't really fit for a Final Fantasysong, all I'm saying. Of course it's a big deal if they take a good portion of their NA/EU release video talking about her, and the song.

I don't think they'll come out with XIV until late 2011/2012.

Yeah the last FF MMO came out relatively short after the previous game did, and I'm sure they're working hard on it, but just comparing to how longwe've had to wait for 13, I just don't see another FF coming out for a while, I think this will hold us over for a loong time.

They announced this game in 2006. They announced XIV this past summer in 2009, I highly doubt we'll see it next year.

Hell, I don't even know if we'll get Agito/Versus until 2011 too.

They announced it as releasing 2010, most people not expecting it til fall/winter 2010 though.
SE has alot of people the people working over there. The people on XIV were the people that made/working on XI, which I believe is seperate group from thepeople on XIII.

And ya they announced FFXIV this summer, but SE mentioned they were working on another MMORPG like 3-4 years back, they just codenamed it something else, andit was only just recently the revealed it was XIV.
