Nexus VII was originally introduced in 2001 and began creating with the concept of using Multiple Maniax & Technix. Every season is set to a theme and designed around their brand’s main concept color, BLACK.
In 2007 the brand was picked up by the famous Colette in Paris and Tomohiro began his duties as Kaws’ Director of Design for the inception of the ORIGINAL FAKE line which he continues to control to this day.
NexusVII desinger Tomohiro Konno is internationally recognized and has collaborated with brands like Original Fake, Stussy, Porter, Medicom Toy, Loopwheeler, John Smedley, and George Cox. Additionally he has worked with artists such as Kaws, Daft Punk, and Nas.
NexusVII is a brand slowly starting to get its dues outside of its natve Japan. Refined, subtle, yet rich in quality detail, PURIST is honored to be the sole distiributor of NexusVII in the United States.
