QB THREAD - 2x quarterbacky award winner: Lamar Jackson

Luck: 36 TD's

Bortles: 10 TD's

Cutler: 26 TD's

Dalton: 15 TD's

Manning: 25 TD's

They got him throwing the ball more than any QB in the game.

Obligatory Andrew Luck hype

Only (blank) has thrown more yards than Andrew Luck this season

Only (blank) has thrown more touchdowns than Andrew Luck this season

Only Colin Kaepernick has been hit more than Andrew Luck this season

But he needs to cut down on the picks though.

You know there's a certain quarterback of a certain team that threw more passes than any quarterback in NFL history in a 3 year stretch and he never finished 1st, 2nd or 3rd in the NFL in picks and takes a ton off slander for throwing interceptions.

I forget who he is off the top of my head. :lol

It's very Brett Favreian.

Don't mean that as an insult either.

Luck the GAWD is a gunslinger. Simple as that. I have come to accept some of his bonehead plays even though some of them have me sitting in front of the TV like this:

First 45 games of Matthew Stafford's career... 80 touchdowns to 54 interceptions.
First 45 games of Andrew Luck's career... 82 touchdowns to 40 interceptions.

Andrew Luck is better than Matt Stafford? :eek

Who knew.

Also lets post that int % from this year alone.

Andrew Luck wasn't throwing the ball downfleid that often last year or even attempting passes like that.

And since we get to poo poo Andrew Luck's bad games because he doesn't have any help maybe just maybe being drafted by the worst team in NFL history has something to do with Matt Stafford's poor play his first 16 games.

His int % from this year is 2.4%

Doesn't help your case SneakerPro :lol

Puts him in RG3, Collin Kaepernicks and EJ Manuel territory.

So of the "elites" he has highest INT percentage.

But he's doesnt need to cut down on the picks?

Which of them dudes are MVP candiates right now?

I don't understand the vendetta vs Luck SP? What are you trying to show? What QBs are better? That Stafford is just as good? That he isn't an MVP candidate? That we shouldn't have him as a tip 5 QB? I just never get your angle with him

I don't have one.

I simply present information within the context of my biased opinion.

I let people do with it what they will.

Luck just lead a 90 yard comeback win drive yesterday?

Zero Oline, getting blasted by defenders, no run game, 295 yards, led the team in rushing, 3 total TD's. On the road.

And he didn't play well. He started out somethin like 3/11 for 15 yards, got pummeled on the sack fumble, threw two picks, got lit up at the goalline by Leonard, constantly battered all day long, 90 yard drive to win.

With about as little help as a QB can get.

Got about all the help he could get from Hoyer :lol That game was painful to watch from a QB standpoint. Whole world knew Luck was going to come through on the final drive though.
