QB THREAD - 2x quarterbacky award winner: Lamar Jackson

So Luck has a defense that has given up 24+ points 23 times in 46 games, and he's had one single 100 yard rusher in those same 46 games, yet he has over 30 career wins already? Jesus. :{

Peyton and now Andrew keep masking the front office missteps of the Colts :lol

I should go dig up my Bill Polian rant. :lol

First half of Polian's career in Indy was $$$. Second half was historically bad. Something like 75% of the players drafted in the latter half of his time aren't even in the NFL anymore.

Grigson has made some good moves (Vontae Davis) and the 2012 draft class was solid... but he also gave up a first rounder for Trent and seems content with Luck having a patchwork o-line.

AFC South.

Watch the game tonight and you'll understand why the Colts have the records they do the last two seasons.

Colts defense isn't bad, either.  It's just relentlessly average.

What team has Jay next year?

Houston?
Tampa/NYJ/TEN/JAX (if they don't get the QB they desire)?
Cleveland?

I kinda wonder if Buffalo calls him. They don't have a first round pick, they do have a talented roster, they don't have a lot of time for Manuel, I don't think Kyle Orton is any sort of answer, if Cutler gets cut, I think Buffalo makes a call.

AFC South prepared them enough to wash the two teams that played in the Super Bowl last year, tho.

Seattle beat Houston by 3 and Tennessee by 7. AFC South.

Meaningful how?

Look at overall strength of schedule.

Look at this season.

Look at their playoff results.

Dudes will use anything to prop up Andrew Luck. Literally anything.

Dude pulled out margin of victory vs the Seahawks like Tampa Bay didn't damn near beat the Seahawks last year.

**** literally meant nothing.

10-4 this year.

4 losses?

Peyton Manning
Ben Rothlisberger
Tom Brady.

The Eagle game, in which the Colts led, and that horrible pass interference that wasn't called, became an INT, and a L. (you know, those INT's that count against Luck, but really can be due to other circumstances, that we all saw on Monday night football)

Literally should be 11-3. 2 of the losses on the road, to Peyton, and a HISTORIC game from Ben. In which Luck threw for 400 yards and 3 TD's.

Nary a hundred yard rusher this year. Defense full of meh. 36 year old Wayne. Bradshaw out for the year. Allen missing over half the year. They could easily be 11-3, losses to Peyton, Brady, and Ben's historic night.

But that's all just cuz the AFC South isn't good? :lol

Andrew Luck ain't did nothing this year Matt Stafford ain't do in 2011 except turn the ball over more and play in a bad division.

He didn't throw the ball at Calvin Johnson 158 times.

Because he had more than one decent option.

Trent Richardson still would have lead the 2011 Lions in rushing and ypc

Lions might have beat the Panthers with luck but they would have lost every other game.

It's funny to me. Matt Stafford puts up good stats "well he doesn't win"

He starts winning with the worst line in the league, stops turning the ball over and no Calvin for 5 games and its "his stats aren't good"

Weird

Who is saying any of that? People in here?

You starting a franchise who you taking?

Luck or Stafford?

Everyone is taking Luck.

And the stats have been posted already of the teams the lions have beaten, they aren't setting the world on fire.

What teams have the Packers, Broncos, or Colts beaten?

Man I'd pack Matt Stafford's bags and help him move to Indianapolis but that's isn't the point.

I'm just ready for these playoffs to start and the Lions win the Super Bowl with Matt getting his Joe Flacco on.

Dude is going to have a Super Bowl ring at 26 and the best stats of quarterback his age in NFL history.

The feels will be epic.

We got Rondo today for nothing.

I'm feeling myself, calling my shot to make it that much more epic.
