R&B Thread About Nothing

Yall peep H.E.R's album? Gave it a spin earlier and gotta be honest, I was pretty underwhelmed.
There was that one song RiHanna shared that sounded dreamy & gorgeous, but I've never heard anything from HER past that. Share a few songs u like of hers if u don't mind.
 
The best **** be the unknown **** :smh: I feel like house is the direct descendant of disco & r&b/soul. R.i.P. Frankie Knuckles. These early house records had so much soul infused w/ the beat b4 it got co-opted. I want younger Black people to know that this is Black music & dig in the "crates" so they can explore it. Some of the best songs I've ever heard are come from these Black artist pouring out their soul over the this records. I love Daft Punk & The xx, but they ain't made no **** like this! All that soul in Chicago didn't go anywhere.
