R.I.P. Prodigy from Mobb Deep

I got some Mobb Deep Moments that I'd like to share. Mobb Deep's music was a big part of me growing up.

- The Mobb was always my favorite hip-hop duo
- my old aim sn was 'infamousbonics10' and it's still my ebay handle after all these years
- I printed the Mobb Deep logo on a t-shirt back in HS, I wish I still had the shirt :smh:
- The record store by old crib in NJ didn't wanna sell me Murda Muzik before release date (which was a Tuesday), but that record store in Dyckman (forgot the name) had it :pimp:
- When ROTM came out I played that **** for like 3 months straight. One day, I thought I lost the CD so I bought another copy. Found it a week later and gave it to my brother.
- When HNIC came out, I rocked Olive tees and matching timbs to match cause P did it :pimp:

Am I tripping or was there a pic with Prodigy with coke on the table in this album art?

I swear I remember that from 1997 and I was tripping like this dude is nuts.

I mean it could be my inner circle or what I see only in the Bay Area but this album is super slept on and the songs on their aren't nearly as famous as singles from The Infamous album. That era is hard to judge on music cause so many people were buying CDs just to buy them. Tons of stuff was going gold and more than a handful was going platinum. I mean Lord Tariq and Peter Gunz only album went platinum and that thing was garbage.

And God Part 3 imo is such a terrible song. I hated that Scarface sample and it just didn't have that NYC gritty beat that all the other songs had. But regardless, that album gets super slept on.

G.O.D. Pt 3 slander???? Smh

I remember my older cousin buying Hell on Earth the day it came out and it being an enhanced CD. You could only listen to the bonus track on a computer so he came over and played it our ****** Mac.

I remember hearing stories quiet storm would cause riots in the club lol

any truth to the rumor that P wrote Kim's verse to Quiet Storm remix in under 15min?

Nope. P said in his book he thought Biggie wrote her rhymes until she wrote her verse for Quiet Storm remix in front of him.

I'll never forget riding around south side Chicago in a red Impala (already doing too much) and my dude from Far Rockaway wanted to bump Lil Kim's album. I was like wtf are you thinking rn?

"Pina Colada champales mixed with Dainy
Thats St. Ides in dunn lingo
Spillin it on the floor for our dead people
While I spark the sequel ****, my ****** got lungs
When we smoke, that **** only go around once"

Didn't he mention her name on a track? Him or Havoc? I know somebody said it once. Almost finished with the book.
