That is sooo dope that you've got a signedpic.

Whether you like Graf or not, you have to appreciate this piece. All the work that went into it and just how beautiful it came out makes it Art and a shame tolose.

Just for people that dont know about it, here is a better pic of the one posted above...you can see him (Saber) sitting on it soyou REALLY get an idea of just how big it is....

on a side note...
the city is on the fence about what to do with the MTA piece
it would cost the city about 3.5 million to clean up due the toxic materials in the piece the city would have to build a dam of some sort to stop the paintfrom falling into that already disgusting radioactive river

I was just gonna ask what are they chances he goes back?

That's a shame. It was always my favorite piece.
Do you really prefer looking at a dirty grey wall over a colorful work of art?
Don't see the point of painting it over, other than the city attacking the culture.

And people thinking it's "art"

With all due respect, if you disregard that piece as "art," then you may want to brush up on your understanding of the definition.

This the part in Infamy where he talks about. Hope this isnt inapropriate.

Nice response, very mature. Makes me kinda cringe at mine even though my take on it still stands. Should have just said it better.

I didn't use to appreciate good graffiti until recently when a friend of mine introduced me to it and explained it, etc. Aside from theartwork being a challenge (especially the piece in the post being 50 x 250 FEET), getting the placement, the quality, and away with it...granted, it's definitely illegal, it's something that can be beautiful--especially, in this case where you take a bayou and make it colorful andcreative. I mean, painting a graphic scene of drugs and strippers on the wall of a school would be completely deplorable, but some cities commission artists todo similar tasks as the one posted to make the city scenery more aesthetically pleasing and enjoyable for people to see every day. Further, most graffiti thatI see is just a mess: people just lining a basic tag-name on a store or putting their gang name in scribbles isn't impressing anybody.
