it would've da SAME reaction from me...you fight someone with a gun in states with carry and conceal laws and they have da right to BLAST you self defense.

i'm agreeing with you, i was asking the other dude. at the end of the day, while its unfortunate that a black kid was in this situation and killed it was his ACTIONS (that same actions that would put a member of any other race in the same position) that got himself shot

 This arguing with ninja has been going on for days. Can't you accept ninja's POV. People are different, not everyone is the same. Ninjas arguments are valid, and so are yours. It all comes down to which side you believe in.

im taking race out of it purely for this conversation, but thats not to say that race wasnt the motivating factor.

you say he picked a fight with a carrying, concealed gun owner.

so after getting his nose punched, he fell?  TM jumped on top of him, started hitting him and pounding his head.  GZ was fighting back at this point?  punching back himsef?  Or he was so overwhelmed he didnt attempt to physically defend himself first?  or he did, and deemed that it was insufficient and the beating he was receiving he was at the point of blacking out?  did he coherently reach for his gun or was it a punch drunk reflex?  in GZ's emotional state at the time of receiving this beating, was he more scared or angry?  and finally, once he pulled the gun and shot TM, did he immediately drop his gun like someone who is not used to shooting someone would do? did he look visibly disturbed? shaken?

im asking these questions because GZ has the stoicism in the face of danger of a cold blooded killer.

Kind of like this case. Rodriguez didn't pick a fight, but said to his camera his life was in danger. Then he blasted them.

Once trayvon starting beating da **** outta

Zimmerman & George feared for his life he was

Covered under da laws of self defense to shoot

& kill Trayvon.

Race played ZERO on that verdict.

Other than the races being switched not sure I see them being anywhere near the same scenario. With TM and GZ they were clearly having a physical altercation whereas reading this story it appears that the Shooter was in his car a guy yelled at him saying he almost hit him so the guy pulled out his gun and shot him from his car. I didnt read anything about the metally disabled person beating on his car etc

There has to be a middle ground, the people causing so much tension in this thread are just too 1 sided...they can only see the case 1 way and that's it it.

To deny race played ANY role , not even 10% is extremely naive or just plain stubbornness....race definitely played a PART in what happened that night.

Same thing for the other side, to say this was strictly about race is being closed minded and angry because I doubt GZ went black male hunting that night.

If you can't accept that race was a factor , or that race wasnt the sole determining factor in this case it might be wise to take a step back from this thread because you're probly to emotionally involved to see it from any other angle.
