Couldn't get with his style, but not many emcees were better lyricist. Underrated with the punchlines.

Chino was definitely one of my favorite rappers when I was younger. Especially those first couple of albums, Here To Save You All, I Told You So, Poison Pen. Him and Big L were Punchline Kings. L had the simple but effective punchlines on lock and Chino had the more complex punches. I think a lot of battle rappers from the past couple of decades bit his style. He fathered a lot of those dudes, especially the Lyrical Miracles from KOTD. It’s hard not to see it.

Saw him once opening for Immortal Technique, dope show. I own several of his albums and also a signed copy of his first comic book (wish I got the second too). RIP to a legend
